Google Docs – Now in Top Gear

Finally, we see one more google product that you can use offline.

The possibilites are enormous now.

• Offline access
• Sync when you are online.
• No context switch.
• No need for the desktop word processor.

There are certain limitations right now,

• This feature is enabled to only a small subset.
• Only English language is supported.
• Not yet for spreadsheet and presentation

I still need to see it on my own and see how Google docs handles

• Conflicts when two people change the shared document.
• Can i do spell check offline?
• When would spreadsheet/presentation support made available.

Just arrived CMS – Google Sites

Google has just arrived with a solution for Content Management System.

They already took over Jot Spot and here is the ready integration.

This is what Google says,

People can work together on a Site to add file attachments, information from other Google applications (like Google Docs, Google Calendar, YouTube and Picasa), and new free-form content. Definitely, more details are available.

I still think, the killing feature would be the Search engine backend from Google.
