Back to Inbox-Xobni

January 10, 2008

Xobni: It promizes to offer effortless organization, search, and navigation of your email. By creating an information profile for each person you interact with, it can surface historical information that is relevant to what you are working on. Xobni displays contact information, threaded conversations, attachments, related people, email usage statistics, and information from the web. Xobni organizes your communication data and makes it available through intuitive navigation and super fast search.

I was just going through life hacker and found a truely amazing stuff.

If you see this video you will find what xobni is all about.
(By the way, xobni is reverse of inbox)

Its an outlook plugin that extracts the networking part of emails. A great thing to hit market from Adam and Matt. Kudos!!!

The idea seems “similar” to LinkedIn plugin for outlook, but more advanced.

Disclaimer: I still haven’t used Xobni but am really eager to do the same…

A Very Happy New Year – Legally

January 1, 2008

Dear All,

I wanted to send a season’s greeting to you all. I must confess though, that taking such action worries me a little. It is in fact somewhat difficult in today’s world to know exactly what to say without potentially causing offense. Therefore I had to seek lawyers advice and here is what I feel comfortable to say to everybody:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress,
non-addictive, gender neutral, non denominational, non political celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practised with the most
enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated in recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make my country great and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of their wishes.

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms.

This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher .

Disclaimer: No trees were harmed directly in the sending of this message; however, a significant number of electrons were selectively rearranged.

All of this meant…
Wish you A very very Happy New Year ;-)

Haapy New Year

January 1, 2008

How beautiful the turning of the year!
A moment artificial yet profound:
Point upon an arbitrary chart
Passing like a breath upon the heart,
Yearning with anticipation wound,

New hope new harbored in old-fashioned cheer.

Even when the boundary line is clear,
We recognize the oneness of the ground.

Years, like circles, do not end or start
Except we lay across their truth our art,
Adjusting dates as they go round and round
Revolving to a tune long sung and dear.
