Just arrived CMS – Google Sites

February 29, 2008

Google has just arrived with a solution for Content Management System.

They already took over Jot Spot and here is the ready integration.

This is what Google says,

Google Sites is the easiest way to make information accessible to people who need quick, up-to-date access. People can work together on a Site to add file attachments, information from other Google applications (like Google Docs, Google Calendar, YouTube and Picasa), and new free-form content. Creating a site together is as easy as editing a document, and you always control who has access, whether it’s just yourself, your team, or your whole organization. You can even publish Sites to the world. The Google Sites web application is accessible from any internet connected computer.

Definitely, more details are available.

I still think, the killing feature would be the Search engine backend from Google.

Jodhaa Akbar

February 24, 2008

I just watched Jodhaa Akbar.

Attached is the trailor from YouTube

My Two cents:

It a “good” love story. I would key in 2.5 starts out of five.

If you have seen K Asif’s Master Creation – Mughal-e-Azam, you would miss Sahenshah Jalaluddin Mohammed Akbar

For me, there was no par to Prithviraj.

It is a history, that the great ruler, Akbar, could not read/write. This was a mistake in K Asif’s edition. But this has been beautifully shown in Ashutosh Gowariker’s edition.

Tech Support : What’s the problem?

Customer : There is smoke coming out of the power supply.

Tech Support : (keep quite)

Tech Support : You’ll need a new power supply.

Customer : No, I don’t! I just need to change the startup files.

Tech Support : Sir, the power supply is faulty. You’ll need to replace
it.

Customer : No way! Someone told me that I just needed to change the
startup and it will fix theproblem! All I need is for you to tell me
the command.

Tech support : 10 minutes later, the

User is still adamant that he is right. The techis frustrated and fed
up.

Tech support : (hush hush)

Tech Support : Sorry, Sir. We don’t normally tell our customers this,
but thereis an undocumented DOS command that will fix the problem.

Customer : I knew it!

Tech Support : Just add the line LOAD NOSMOKE.COM at the end of the
CONFIG.SYS . Let me know how it goes.

10 minutes later.

Customer : It didn’t work. The power supply is still smoking.

Tech Support : Well, what version of DOS are you using?

Customer : MS-DOS 6.22 .

Tech Support : That’s your problem there. That version of DOS didn’t
come with NOSMOKE. Contact Microsoft and ask them for a patch that
will give you the file. Let me know how it goes.

1 hour later.

Customer : I need a new power supply.

Tech Support : How did you come to that conclusion?

Tech Support : (hush hush)

Customer : Well, I rang Microsoft and told him about what you said,
and he started asking questions about the make of power supply.

Customer : He told me that my power supply isn’t compatible with
NOSMOKE!!!!!
